Our Headquarters, affectionately referred to as ‘HQ’, will transport you back to those summer camp days gone by. Inside you'll find boating and fishing gear, board and lawn games, yoga mats and hula hoops – all sorts of gear that will make you feel like a kid again. You can pick out some locally made souvenirs or purchase extra firewood here as well.

Hanging out on our floating dock in one of the swinging chairs is so relaxing. You can listen to the frogs croak, or listen to some music on the Bluetooth speaker. If a little row around the water strikes your fancy, our 1970s Jon Boat 'Wolfe' is at the ready. Grab a cooler and some tackle from HQ, and enjoy a quiet afternoon of fishing the fully stocked pond.

Venture up the easy rise of our forest trails to discover the enchantment that awaits. You'll find a thrilling zipline, an archery range, a secret library with a hammock for two, and a tomahawk-throwing target - all against a spectacular backdrop. Or just sit under the cool shade of the ancient trees, and listen to the purr of nature. There's something for everyone!

Time to soak up the sun! A short trip around the pond will take you to a lovely vignette where you can play Corn Hole on a hillock of wildflowers. Watch the birds and butterflies flutter around the English Garden while listening to the babble of Cherry Creek. Or wander over to see what's abuzz at the apiary. Then end the evening gathered around the bonfire pit.

We've crisscrossed our 13 acres with trails that lead you to beautiful views, majestic trees, and some fun activities. They are remarkable, industrious, and sweet, but with a sting. Up at the front of the property, you will find the Apiary - or beehives. These remarkable eusocial insects are fascinating to watch. Feel free to ask your host about them, or purchase a jar of honey from HQ as a tasty souvenir from your little adventure to Canvas Cottages.
